Director and Teacher of the Ballet School in Thessaloniki, Dancer, Choreographer, Impresario
Brief Biography: Kostas Kafantaris is a prominent Greek ballet master, educator, and organizer of ballet projects. Having graduated from prestigious academies, he has dedicated his career to the development of classical and contemporary dance both in Greece and internationally.
As a dancer, he has performed on leading stages in Greece, playing principal roles in classical and contemporary repertoires. His stage career includes performances in Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Giselle, as well as in contemporary productions.
After the end of his performing career, Kafantaris focused on pedagogical and choreographic work. Today, he is the director and lead teacher of a ballet school in Thessaloniki, where he prepares a new generation of dancers and regularly conducts masterclasses and training for professional artists.
Pedagogical Work: Teaching classical and contemporary dance, developing artistry and stage presence.
Choreography: Creator of original productions, collaboration with theaters and dance troupes.
Impresario: Organizer of international ballet projects, festivals, and competitions.
