The Sara-Nora Prima International Ballet Competition and the Sara-Nora Master Ballet Academy were founded in 2022. The competition is held at the State Opera – Burgas and is exclusively intended for professionals: students of ballet schools and artists from ballet companies.

Over its first three years, more than 300 children and young artists from 20 countries have participated in the Sara-Nora Prima International Ballet Competition, across three age categories (9–12, 13–16, and 17–26 years).

The goal of the competition is to support the professional development of young ballet performers and talented children by providing opportunities for international stage appearances, scholarships, and professional contracts.

The competition also includes a ballet academy featuring master classes led by internationally recognized artists and pedagogues from the global ballet scene.

For ballet to continue developing and to reach new generations of audiences, it needs the personal support of dedicated patrons and sponsors.
