
VESELA VASILEVA
Born in Ruse, where she began her ballet education. She graduated from the National School of Music and Dance in Sofia. Even as a student, she took part in the productions of the Sofia Opera and Ballet and in concerts.
In 2003, she joined the ballet troupe of the Ruse State Opera as a prima ballerina.
She teaches at the National School of Arts “Prof. Veselin Stoyanov” Ruse.
In 2016, she was awarded the Crystal Lyre by the Union of Bulgarian Music and Dance Artists for the roles of Odette-Odile in “Swan Lake” and Kitri in “Don Quixote”.
Her repertoire includes the central roles from Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Apollon Musaget, Seasons, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Markitanka, The Street Flower, etc.
Dances in Grand Gala ballet Dubai; Spectacular Ballet Malta; Skopje – Macedonia
He also guest-performs in the troupes in Varna, Burgas, Stara Zagora.
Since 2019. he is the artistic director of the ballet of the State Opera Ruse.
He creates choreographies for a number of concerts, operas, children’s musicals and operettas.
He tours in Korea, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Dubai, Malta, Tunisia, France, Germany, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia.
